Cybersmart

LI: to keep our drives organised.
An organised drive is good for when finding your documents, slides and many more in folders. We had to clean our drives and put our documents were they belong.

Kiwi sport

This session is the last session for the term. For a start we had to do stretches. The stretches we did were: L shape, Seal, Butterfly, cat, straddle and back, front, side support. On each we had to push our self to feel the burn. We had to do each of them for 10 seconds and move on to the next one.

We had three rotation the first rotation had: going backwards on the beam, cartwheel on the box, cart wheel on the stage and forward roll on the bench. The second rotation had: star jumping off the trampoline, backwards roll down, 1 leg/scorpion hand stand and the half/180 jump. For the trampoline jump we had to get a high jump and move into a star shape position. For the 180 turn we had to jump on the spring ramp and turn half way.

The last rotation had: Hand stand against the wall, front support, parallel bars and back/side/front rotation. For the hand stand against the wall we have to hand stand putting one foot on the wall and the other stretching out and then switch. We then ended with telling the most difficult part of the challenges.

This week I had read a book called "Happy". This book is talking about a song called happy.

Information report

LI: to write an introduction and conclusion for an information report.
An information report has five parts to it that spells times. Times stands for title,introduction,meaningful information,explain visually and summary.
A Introduction means telling the readers what you are talking about.
Summary means what the you have been writing about .
How I learned: By listing to the teacher and getting feedback.
What I learned: I learn what is a introduction and a summary.

Ki O Rahi

L.I To play Ki o Rahi
Whe I put my bag away I saw a lot of other school's.
Every  tear 5 and 6 school's  had 5 game each's.

Frist Game 
For our First Game we played agensit Tamaki Priamry. Sadly we lost agenst Tamki Priamry it was also a close game the score was 6 to 5 Tamki Pramry. We all tried our best toghther.

Seconed Game 
 For our seconed game we were supposed play agensit panmure dritric but sadly they did not come. So we had a frendly game agenst Hopes. We also won we all had a fun game playing togther. I was really happy that I could run with the ball.

Third Game 
For our thrid game we played agensit Pou. But sadly we lost. The score were 4 to 5to Pou. We had a fun game also I was happy I could shake there hands.

Fouth Game 
For the fouth game we played agensit Stonefields. We had a fun game we also won agensit Stonedields it was also fun playing and I had fun being Kaitacky for the first time.

Last Game 
For the Last round we played agensit St Patrick. We also won. I really had fun running with the ball passing the ball arounf and scoring tryies.

I would also like to say thank you to the kelly sport's and to the helpers and teacher that came out and to support us.

African drumming

L.I To learn African drumming.
Johnny from rhythm Interactive taught us four rhythms on the djembe.
Johnny taught us by clapping and singing the rhythms for us to copy. One of the call and return tunes was "I like chocolate cake " , "so do I."
Johnny teaches a message to children that message is that "together, we can make a change."
This year I was really exited to see johnny.

Reading

L.I To how to Skimm.
This week for reading we are talk about skim reading we had and google slide that we had to finish

our google side before we make and google flip grad when you had finish  doing your flip grid you dang blog your work.

Maths

LI: to add and subtract decimals by place value and check using the written algorithm.
Today I have been doing decimals. Decimals are numbers that are smaller than the number one. Decimals are numbers that have points like a dot to separate the numbers.

Zoo trip

Yesterday LS1 and panmure bridge school went to see the Auckland Zoo. Here a all the animals that we saw.

Several Cat's
Several Cats a Cats that really like jumping. I learned that that Several cat jump 3 meters. They also come from South Africa. Behavioural enrichment -pole. Our Zoo keeper told us there is a pole because they put the food on top and the Several cat has to try and jump to grab the food.

Cheetah
Cheetah had Behavioural enrichment Tree. I learned that cheetah was the fasted land animal.I also learned that cheetah run 100 long. When 100 long is finished they get tried. Our Zoo keeper also gave us and showed us a cheetah skin from the airport.They told us that this skin is a real skin.People has been killing cheetah.

Elephants.
There were two girl's elephants.One was called Burma and Burma was from Burma. The last one was Anjalee and she is from Sri Laka .I learned that Burma and Anjalee are Asia Elephants. I also learned that elephant poo could be made into paper.They show us the book that was made out of elephant poo.
Anjalee like to paint our zoo keeper showed us a photo of her painting.

Flamingos
Flamigos is eat insets in the water. I learned that Flamingos sleep on one leg because it really coftable for them and when someone coming they could just stand up but when they lay down they will have to get up.

Rhino
Rhino has horn's. I learned that horns are made out of Keratin witch is the same as fingers nails and hair.

Kiwi
Kiwi's when I went inside I was scared because it was really dark. I asked why those it have to be dark.They told us  because in the day time they sleep.But in the night they aways keep awake so we want them to be awake so you guys and see them.

I was really happy that I could see animals I have not seen before and new facts I never learned before.

Basic fact boxs

This week we did basic facts and we had to do this and then we had to blog the work and we had to make it and then we had to blog the work that we did of the basic facts boxes.

Maths

LI: To identidy and count thenths, hundredths, and thousandths.

A decimal is higher than 0 but less that 1 or a full number like 1.7 or 1.2. To do the must do we had to learn how to say the decimals. You might think that 25.847 is pronounced: twenty five point eight hundred and fourty seven but it is actually pronounced twenty five point eight four seven. On the slide we had to answer the words on the decimal number, the fraction, the number before, the number after and the photo. I enjoyed this activity.

Scanning

L.I To learn about scanning.
Scanning is looking throw the whole book and finding information.
The book bees is about all types of bees.

Hiwi the kiwi fishing for the future

L.I: To be responsible in the sea and when fishing.

This week we went to the hall for hiwi the kiwi and we learnt a legal fish size and when you are in a boat all ways where a life jacket and to be safe and to make sure that you don't put your rubbish in the water  and keep same thing to get the birds away from the bot so that you cunt get a bird on your line and when you go fishing take same salt ice blocks and also get a wet towel to pike up the fish so

Writing

This week for writing we were learning about cats. We had to make an information report about cats. We also learned so Time.

WE had to write it down on our google draw and get a arrow pointing to where it is.
Then we will play a game and see witch group has the most correct.
We got four we got the most.

Energizer: Count to 21 

Activity: 3 Goals setting.

Three things we can strive to complete them by the end of the term.

• My first goal was mowing my uncles lawns by knowing all of the controls that are on the lawn mower so I won't need help. 
• My second goal was getting to school on time by waking up getting dressed and catching the bus.
• My third goal was finishing my must do's by Friday by concentrating. 

To follow through with what we say is to actually do it.

We can show this by doing this at home anywhere else.

Today we began to learn about matariki by reading a book called night sky.
Matariki is the Maori new year.

We learnt how to attribute images, here are the steps.

1. Go o  to google and click the tools.
a. labels for reuse
b. This should show you what photos you can reuse.

2. Click the photo you want to use.
3. Copy that photo
4. Link the photo to the owners profile
5. Link the licence.

This Week for writing we were talking about materials for our work we had to finish a slide our teacher made for us.Then we had to make a poster about all the temps the temps are T-Title E-End Result M-Materials  and P-Picture and S-steps  The word is temps.
