LI: To write a quality blog comment on someone else’s blog that starts a rich learning conversation.
Leaving a quality blog comment on another student’s blog helps us make connections to new learning by asking open ended questions that encourage a reply and motivate the blogger to ask their own question in return. This is how a comment thread starts and when that happens we make connections with a wider audience who we can learn with and from. The Person I commented on was Malachi at Ruapotaka hopefully I get a reply.
Kia ora Leroy
ReplyDeleteMy name is Renee and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey Team. Ka pai for leaving such a positive and considered comment on Malachi’s blog. I particularly like how you asked Malachi a question so that there is an opportunity for a comment thread to form. I also appreciated that you included an explanation of the benefits of leaving quality comments on other learners’ blogs in your post, I thought that was really helpful. Next time, you could think about including a link to your blog in your comment so that others can check out your excellent work as well.
Which Summer Learning Journey activities are you most excited about?
Remember, when you check out some of the other bloggers’ Summer Learning Journey posts and leave a positive, thoughtful or helpful comment, like you have done for Malachi, you will receive extra points! If you do this, remember to submit a link to your published comment using this form. .

I can see that you have commented on Malachi's blog, did he reply? Whether he replied or not it is good to ask questions and get replies. This is the start of a comment thread.
