kokako Infographic

LI: To create an infographic using google draw that tells your audience facts about the kokako.
This week, everyone in LS2 has been given a set of different challenges based on our camp. For this activity we used our smart searching skills to find information about the North Island Kokako bird. I found this activit fun because I learnt about the kokako.

collage

LI: To create a collage of your camp highlights

This week LS2 have been celebrating our camp. I created this collage to show my time at camp and the activities I enjoyed. To make my collage effective I thought about the size of the images, the angle of the images and I tried hard not to leave any gaps between the photos. I found this activity because it was cool playing around with the photos.

5 minutes camp

L.I To recount a 5 minute snap shot of one experience you had at camp.

I was shaking as I took my first step on the ladder. My heart was beating faster than before, there were butterflies in my stomach and my whole body was shaking.

Next I was climbing the staples by then I thought I was going to come down but when I got to the top I said to myself don't look down I ran to the other pole it was scary at first.

After that I tried to do a push up but I couldn't go down and the rope was tight so I skipped the challenge.

At the end I started to feel like superman coming down slowly it was a fun experience.

Last week we went to camp at Kokako lodge. My 5 minute snap shot shows my personal voice and I have tried hard to paint a picture with my words to describe what I was doing and how I felt. I felt this activity fun because I face my fears of heights.

Kokako Lodge Brochure

L.I To create a brochure about the inside and the outside parts of kokako Lodge.

In our activity groups for camp, we created an inside and outside brochure to advertise Kokako Lodge. We included distance between Auckland to Kokako Lodge, information about the activities, photos of student experience, catering and cabins.

They provide free beds and have various activities to do and challenge yourself with. There are 6 cabins that hold up to 14 people, which is almost definitely capable of holding multiple crowds of people.

We focused on providing information that sells Kokako Lodge, which means it catches people’s interest and makes them want to stay there.

We enjoyed creating this brochure and being able to test our creativity with advertising and comprehension skills.

Today Panmure bridge went to Tamaki college for tech we drawed what we wanted  to build so for example if You want to build a skateboard you will need to sketch it out to see what it will look like and where the joints will go were the wheels are going. And we had to show him are work and he would say which one you want to do and we picked on.
