Born to Fly

L.I To learn about the story and to use new words.
Today I did reading for reading I did a book called Born to fly he was fighting in world war 2 in a plane that broke down. When it broke done he jumped out of the plane some one cached him. When he woke up he was in jail he broke out.

L.I: To develop fast recall of multiplication and divisions facts

Today I did a flip grid video about Basic facts. In the video I had Addition,subtraction,multiplication and division. I had different time tables like 3 time tables,5,6,9,10 and more . L.I:To identify the structure and language features of a procedure text.

This week for writing I learned about procedure text by 

doing posters.We had to do three posters by doing looking

at websites.We had to copy stuff from the websties by order.

We had to do our posters by order because on the websites it's

in order.We had three websites and three posters.

We had to write procedure text.We had to write about the

things that we copied from.The website where plain scones,

directions and also how to build a spaghetti bridge.

L.I To Focus on Perseverance
This week our topic Preserverance. Preserverance is to never give up and try and try again and again. We first got into our game somthing like tangled. For this game someone has to be the tager and if the tager tags somone then you have to hold there hands but only the people at the end has to tag the people running around . Then we talked about Preserverance. After talking about Preserverance we got into another game called invisble tag. For this game we got split up into 2 groups group 1 and group 2. For an example if miss Lili says 3 people then that 3 pople has to get up and run to the poll were the just got told too. At the end we all had fun. Also next week is the fun week it is when Kiwi Can pick the class with most points get a shared lunch.

NZ Defense Forse Visitor Isaac ching

LI: To make a structure protecting you building.

This week we had a guest his name is Isaac but his teaching name is Mr Ching. Isaac told us facts about defense and explosives it was very fun because he gave us a challenge and that was to get into a group and create a Building that can protect our helicopter. But before we did that he taught us about explosives. The most amazed thing I learned about was landmines. He told us if you place a land mine then the person that placed it can't see it nether can anybody else. He also taught us about dynamite,Nuclear bombs,Atomic bomb, Gum bombs, Smart bombs and C4. So when we did the challenge we earned a peace of paper and straws to make our foundation with after we were done then they tested it if the shock wave would break it and it didn't it wasn't a real shock wave because we used air to do the shock wave. My Group Manage to create a foundation that can't be breakable with a shock wave.

Duffy Visitor Micheal Mulipola

 Yesterday our whole school went to the hall to introduce ourself to our duffy vistiors micheal mulipola. micheal mulipola is a comic artist he introduced us to some of his books. Like his school journels. We leant a awsome fact and that was we had some of his books in our school. Half way we got told that he was a professional wrestler. The little kids were even impressed of his photos. Also we got told that he was a semi pro of tekan.
