Active Listing

 L.I learning to be a active listener.

 Today we learnt about active listening. This term our theme for kiwi can is Positive Relationships and our topic for the next 3 weeks is Positive Communication. How can we show others we are listening? By listening with our ears and focusing on them by looking with our eyes. The games we played to show active listing is tow games the games are called chophouse slut and remote control. The way you play remote control is when you walk around and if some one says pause  then you pause if some one says stop then you jump.

 L.I To practise chords and the songs Shotgun and One Call Away.
Today at music we had to practise the chords. The chords are C,F,G and A. We practise the chords by doing two songs. The songs were One Call Away and Shotgun. The interment I played on was the Xylophone.

L.I To learn how to right a recount with tree.

Today I made a recount about catching a wild horse at my uncle's farm in the holidays.The structure of a recount is tree. Tree is the structure of a recount. T stands for Title. R stands for Reveal. E stands for Event and the other E stands for Ending.

LS1 Graphs

LI: to display data on a graph

For this we got into groups of 5 or 6 and made a graph about LS1. We had to make six graphs about it. But every group had the same data. The graphs we made were: who has pets, amount of siblings, favourite subject, holiday activities, birthdays, and languages. We had to do one of them as a group then make one ourselves.

Kiwi Can

L.I To learn new games and to respect the school and respect the interment. 

Today the year 6's went to kiwi can. The Theme is positive relationships and positive communications then they played a game called eyes up and eyes down. Eyes up and eyes down is  if you look at someone and they look at you at the same time then you are out if you look at someone else and the person next to you looks at  you then you are not out. The last game we played was jockeys up. jockeys up is a game that you have to run around your partner and then run around the every one and then you have to hold your partner on the shoulders or jump on to them. The last game we played was  G K Q.

ki o Rahi for Kiwi sport

L.I To know the basics of ki o Rahi.
Today for kiwi sport we learnt a game called  ki o Rahi the coach was Shanice. The first game that we played was Taniwah and kiona the second game was 8 pass. 8 pass is a tricky game because you have to spread out,communicate,share the ball and work as a team. At the end Shanice said basket ball,soccer,touch and 8 ball. The game I played at the end was touch.
