6 Sentence story

L.I. Use 6 sentences to set up the structure of a narrative

I couldn't believe my eyes when my best friend James put his hand up and answered a question. James is usually shy and always asks to go to the toilet just to get out of the room. Unfortunately I was the one who got told off because, I never answered a question the teacher asked me. I am sweating and my heart is pounding while the teacher is yelling at me. The next day I told the teacher that I was sorry and that I was shocked.

Today my group wrote 6 sentence stories to help us take risks with our writing. We did this by sharing our ideas and writing sentence that drop hints about what was happening in the picture we chose to write about. We helped each other by suggesting ideas to each other to make our stories more interesting.
